Pro-Level Advice

Dogfights in this thing punish anyone who flies in a straight line for more than a couple of seconds. Bank hard, cut your throttle a hair before a turn, and try to bleed enemy speed advantage instead of matching it head-on. WASD gets you moving, sure, but the mouse is really doing the heavy lifting here since it steers your aim independently of your flight path, which means you can be pulling left while still tracking a target drifting right. That disconnect feels weird for the first few minutes and then suddenly clicks, and once it does, you'll start pulling off shots that felt impossible ten minutes earlier. Don't chase every enemy jet that crosses your nose. Pick your fights, let the slower ones come to you, and save your ammo bursts for when the reticle actually sits on target instead of spraying and hoping. Switching camera angles with C also helps a ton when you lose track of who's behind you, and honestly, checking your six should become a reflex fast if you don't want to get jumped mid-turn.

Control Scheme

  • WASD moves and steers your fighter jet through the sky
  • Mouse aims your weapons and lets you look around the cockpit
  • Left-click fires your guns at locked-on or visible targets
  • C swaps between camera views for better situational awareness
  • TAB opens the menu for quick pauses or settings checks

The whole point is survival through superior maneuvering: outfly every enemy squadron thrown at you, rack up kills without eating a missile yourself, and come out the other side of each dogfight still airborne. There's no hand-holding once the shooting starts, so figuring out angles, timing, and when to disengage becomes the actual skill you're building match after match.
